Many people refer to places on The Las Vegas Strip by the Hotel that is there, rather than the cross street name. The two roads that cross The Las Vegas Strip that are the easiest to remember are Tropicana Rd, Flamingo Rd, and Sahara Rd. These are easy to remember because they are right next to the Tropicana Hotel, Flamingo Hotel and the Sahara Hotel. Other things that is helpful to remember is that Downtown Las Vegas is North of the Las Vegas Strip. McCarran International Airport is South of the Strip.
